For an installation based on the concrete, physical matter of Louis Aragon’s novel Blanche ou l’oubli, the artist cut off the spine of the small paperback to free the pages. Once separated, he glued them together in a sort of carpet, a map or constellation destined to be forever fragmented, unrestorable to linearity. What remains is the spectre of a book, an anomaly of language.
