Dimensions variable

Two aluminium signs of the sort found at city limits or bearing street names are placed at right angles on a former newsstand. Depending on the direction of approach, the viewer first sees one or the other version of the palindrome-like message, both of which inspire a pause in the flow of passers-by. For the artist, taking time in an age where chasing time has become a scourge means putting up resistance to our frenetic lifestyles.
