Remember What Is Missing
Remember What Is Missing, 2016–
Dust, time, ongoing performative gesture
Dimensions variable
For Remember What Is Missing, the artist collects dust as he walks through abandoned and reconstruction sites. He then spreads the dust on the floor of the exhibition space to create a sort of carpet in which words are legible by their absence and ring like hymns in tribute to the fragility of our increasingly precarious lifestyles.
